Whether your project is looking for a unique engagement ring, wedding ring or remodelled heirloom, we will use our design expertise, craftsmanship and wealth of knowledge to create your perfect piece of jewellery. You can also use this booking for private viewings of our in-stock jewellery pieces.

What to expect:

• Meet with James & the team. Occasionally, as we are a working workshop, James may not be available to meet with you personally, but will always take the lead on design proposals following initial meetings. If James is unavailable we will let you know.

• Discus your idea, project and budget and view examples of previous design work and handcrafted jewellery

• Consider metal and gemstone options

• View initial design sketches to help visualise your ideas

After your consultation, if you are happy to continue, typically a £150 design deposit* will be payable and the process of developing your jewellery will begin (please note this payment will be deducted from your final quote, but is non-refundable in the event of project cancellation). On occasion, we may be able to proceed immediately, in which case 50% of the balance would be payable. *The deposit of £150.00 may vary depending on the project, more details below, we will always be clear and open with pricing before any deposits are requested.

Bespoke Pricing Information*

Our bespoke jewellery commissions typically start from £1,000.00, though the overall cost will vary depending on the complexity of the design, the type and quality of gemstones, and the precious metals you wish to use. To give a more specific example, our typical starting price for engagement rings is around £1,800.00, while other bespoke pieces such as pendants, earrings, or remodelling projects may vary.

*Typically we take a £150 design deposit after your initial consultation, which covers the initial refinement of ideas after our discussion with you. This amount is then deducted from your final quote if you choose to go ahead with the piece. However, for highly bespoke projects that require a deeper level of development (such as multiple rounds of sketches, detailed illustrations or full highly unique CAD modelling) we may need to apply a separate bespoke design charge. If this is required, we will always let you know in advance and outline the work involved before any further design takes place. These are quoted case by case, however the vast majority of our bespoke commissions do not require additional design time further than the £150 deposit, if you are unsure do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Likewise if your bespoke project requires us to collect materials such as gemstones prior to our final quote, we may request additional deposits to cover the transit of these materials.

These charges ensure we can give each bespoke project the time, detail and consideration it needs while keeping the process transparent throughout.

If you have a budget in mind, we can work with you to design a piece that achieves your vision within that range and advise on what is possible. Before any work begins, we will always agree a final price with you, so you have full clarity and confidence in the commission.
